Disconnect your account

You are always in control of the accounts you connect. You can disconnect Instagram or WhatsApp from MsgMaven at any time — this stops all message processing for that channel and removes the stored access tokens.
Disconnect from inside MsgMaven
- Log in and open Settings → Channels.
- Find the channel you want to remove — Instagram or WhatsApp Business.
- Select Disconnect and confirm.
Go to Settings → Channels (you'll be asked to log in first).
What happens when you disconnect
- The stored access token for that channel is deleted immediately.
- MsgMaven stops receiving webhooks and processing new messages for that channel.
- We stop sending any replies on your behalf through that channel.
- Your other connected channel (if any) continues to work independently.
Remove MsgMaven from Meta
You can also revoke access directly from Meta at any time:
- Instagram / Facebook: go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find MsgMaven, and remove it.
- WhatsApp Business: in Meta Business Manager, open Business settings → Accounts → WhatsApp accounts, and remove MsgMaven's access.
Delete your data
Disconnecting stops processing and removes access tokens. To also delete stored conversation data, use the Data Deletion page or email privacy@msgmaven.com. MsgMaven also honours Meta's Data Deletion Request callback automatically.
